How I create
And what my artworks about
I am often asked what my poems, songs, and paintings are about. I hate it. Guys, I’m doing what I’m doing and this is not me, who is going to explain the feelings that my artworks evoke. So, please enjoy the creation and find the answers in your heart, mind, soul, or whatever it might be. But I can tell you how I generally do it 😉
1.
Lyrics to my songs
I have found, that many songs were written just after I woke up in the morning. Usually, the melody is already in my head, so I take the guitar and write the lyrics. Then I go to Tilarids, our guitarist in the band, and show him my draft. He plays and I sing. Sometimes I create songs when I drive the car 🙂
2.
Drums
This is a special story: I have become a drummer because we couldn’t find a drummer after the previous one left us. So I took the sticks in my hands and just started doing it. I love playing and singing at the same time.
3.
Writing poems
I feel much, when I create poems, this is like I dive into the abyss and see many things, that I describe. I open new locks inside and go through my life further thanks to the poetry. And I write a novel btw.
4.
Paintings and “bugs”
There was a time when selling my paintings helped me a lot. I paint them fast, I adore creating faces, trying to add some “bugs” in the art reality. Actually, I always like to spoil something, because “ideal” work is not nice for me. That’s why I love sludge in music, polyrhythmic poems, and abstract art.
